Doña Julia Golf is a must-visit for those who are in the western part of the Costa del Sol. It is strategically located in the municipality of Casares, between Marbella and Sotogrande, with direct access from the motorway. It enjoys an excellent location, between the sea and the mountains, which allows you to enjoy magnificent views of both the Mediterranean and Sierra Bermeja or the Serranía de Ronda. The sea can be seen from almost all the holes. These views make playing at Doña Julia a true privilege. During the first seven holes you climb up to reach the tee of hole 8, the highest point of the course, which offers a spectacular panoramic view. The next eleven, returning, offer a very different but equally impressive perspective. The golf course, with 5976 metres and par 71, was designed by the prestigious Malaga architect Antonio García Garrido in 2005, and built according to USGA standards, with regard to tees, greens, bunkers and drainage. The greens are spacious (averaging 700 m2) and the fairways are wide. Although some holes are challenging, this is a balanced course that offers a fun experience to the golfer, regardless of their handicap.
