The Hacienda Links Golf Resort is the only links golf course in southern Europe, with 18 holes with spectacular views of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar, and a second Heathland course. This is a typically Scottish-designed course, located next to the beach in Cadiz and with spectacular views of the sea. This is the first links course in Spain, very different from all those around it. It consists of an 18-hole, par 72 course, and is a smooth course where, on clear days, you can see Africa. The spectacular nature of the course is the natural dunes that form the holes, always surrounding the sea. The classic links course, which has been Alcaidesa’s benchmark since 1992, has been accompanied since 2007 by a new course, called Heathland, which recovers the landscape of gentle hills and the typical trees of this area. The prestigious designer Dave Thomas has managed to make this course the best setting for hosting all types of competitions. It is located just 5 minutes from Sotogrande, at kilometre 124.6 of the motorway between Sotogrande and La Línea.
