José María Olazábal is the creator and designer of this course located on the Cadiz coast and which occupies an area of ​​over 400 hectares. Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club has 27 holes that allow you to play up to 3 different courses, which run through a landscape surrounded by palm trees, olive trees and ficus trees. It is a course with large tees and great versatility, as it is enjoyed equally by professional players and less advanced players. Its course is comfortable and there is plenty of water, with the 16th hole, a par 3, standing out, whose green is surrounded by a lake. The Costa Ballena course is considered one of the best courses in Spain, and also has a prestigious school, a 9-hole Par 3 course and a high-performance centre for professional players. The practice area is one of the largest in Europe and has spectacular views of the sea. Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club has hosted all kinds of competitions and championships. It has been a “European Qualifying School Venue” since 2005.
