Sherry Golf and you: A perfect pair Located just 1.5 km from Jerez de la Frontera, it can be considered a golf course close to the city centre. It is very easily accessible as it is close to the A-4 Jerez – El Puerto de Santa María motorway. Located 10 minutes from Jerez airport, 50 from Seville airport and 1 hour from Malaga, thanks to the new Jerez los Barrios motorway. The clubhouse has more than 2,800 m2 designed with the flavour of Jerez, giving it a warm atmosphere as the city of Jerez gives to the visitor. Its facilities consist of traditional sports and tournament facilities such as: Pro shop, club room with individual lockers, changing rooms with showers and lockers, restaurant, grill terrace, cafeteria, “Hoyo 19”, rooms for celebrations and events of all kinds, and much more. The exceptional geographical location of Jerez and its unique environment make the area the perfect destination for visitors. 3,200 hours of daylight per year make our coast of Cadiz known as the Costa de la luz. The Course: Designed by Stirling & Martin (Global Golf Company), it is presented as an accessible course for amateurs and demanding for professionals. Proof of this are the numerous high-level tournaments that we have had the honour of hosting at Sherry Golf Jerez during our still short life, such as the Copa SM El Rey; the Copa SM La Reina; the International Seniors Championship (twice in a row); or the Volvo Masters Amatuer. In addition, Sherry Golf Jerez has been the official venue since 2006 and until 2009 for the 2nd Qualifying Round for the PGA Europe. The course is characterised by being one of the most balanced courses in Spain: – 18-hole course: 6,572 metres, Par 72 – 9-hole Pitch & Putt course (Par 3): 911 metres, Par 27 Sherry Golf is within the new design concepts of American courses: fun and safe to play.
